The Founder’s Vision
Ayşem Zorlu is a high-impact Digital Transformation leader who bridges the gap between technical engineering and C-suite strategy. With an MSc in Applied Statistics and Data Mining from the University of St Andrews, she has spent 15 years architecting data-driven growth for global giants like Ford, Sony, TUI and Bayer.
Her journey is defined by a unique blend of corporate rigour and entrepreneurial grit. As the founder of the award-winning travel marketplace Loacal, Ayşem conceptualised and scaled a tech product that earned her a spot in the Startup Istanbul Top 100 and secured competitive government SME funding. Her influence in the ecosystem led to her appointment as the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Representative at the European Commission in Brussels in 2019.
A multi-award-recognised consultant, Ayşem’s work has been featured by Google for Gen AI innovation and shortlisted for the Data IQ Awards.
